SEO SPECIALIST (PART-TIME, HYBRID)

River Avenue Digital, a local marketing agency located in Delaware County, PA is looking for an SEO Specialist who can help plan and implement the strategy for multiple clients within our client roster. 

Although this position would begin as a part-time role, it has the potential to grow into a full-time role. The candidate would work with and report directly to the digital marketing manager.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of SEO experience and have familiarity with the following tools:

  1. Google Analytics/GA4
  2. Google Search Console
  3. Google My Business
  4. Google Tag Manager
  5. Screaming Frog
  6. Uber Suggest
  7. SEMRush
  8. Moz
  9. Bright Local
  10. Yoast
  11. Experience working with Agency Analytics and Google Data Studio is a plus

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

  1. Meet with clients, manage client relationships in order to understand their business goals and be able to articulate that into an actionable SEO plan.
  2. Utilize tools such as Google Page Speed Insights to track page performance and recommend overall speed improvements.
  3. CRO – Make page recommendations and provide section and resource recommendations to improve page engagement based on GA4 recommendations.
  4. Use SEMRush to research, recommend and configure related keywords. 
  5. Generate monthly client reports to highlight ranking changes and conversion data.
  6. Write the meta for websites which include descriptions, title tags, H1 and H2 headers and incorporate them into various websites. Should have knowledge of Yoast, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog and other web related tools
  7.  Use Google Analytics to determine the customer journey and provide recommendations to improve performance site wide
  8. Implement and verify conversion tracking for various clients  (forms, buttons, ecommerce, etc.) with Google Tag Manager.
  9. Provide insight on YouTube optimization and be able to write, suggest and research proper tag and descriptions to improve video performance and ranking
  10. Have extensive knowledge of Google My Business and helping client accounts with optimization, profile setup and troubleshooting, and other tactics to positively impact rankings in Google Map pack and local searches. 
  11. Setup and monitor Bright Local campaigns to assist with local SEO.
  12. Provide blog post and interlinking recommendations and ideas which match the current SEO strategy.
  13. Setup Google Analytics, Google Search Console and GA4 for client websites

Bio: Sal Graci is an experienced and enthusiastic marketing professional with a broad range of skills. He has more than 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing a variety of marketing campaigns and projects. Sal has a proven track record of helping companies grow and achieve their goals through his own agency and private companies.

Education: Sal graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 2004 with an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology. He specializes in search engine optimization, PPC, and the overall design and development of marketing strategies. He also has extensive experience with a variety of marketing automation tools like Hubspot, Active Campaign, and SendInBlue.

Community: Believing in staying active within the community, Sal performs musically for a variety of charity events including fundraisers for CHOP. He also donates and works with various food banks throughout the Philadelphia area.

In his free time… Sal enjoys playing with his band Good Night Graci and recording/writing music. He also has a love for sports and is a regular host on a bi-monthly podcast called Enough Said.
